Default Help choosing alternatives for HA

Hello,

This is my first mail here but I suppose more will come ;-).

This is my scenario:

Office A: One Windows Server 2008 running different applications where different databases (stored on an externar SAN) are accessed. Users access those applications through Terminal Server. From time to time and despite electricity generators, electric power is lost and other branch offices users remain idle.

Office A and B are connected through wireless 100 Gb connections (no other possibility due to location of offices in the middle of nowhere :-)).

We want to make it possible for users in office B to keep on working with as small disruption as possible even if Office A fails completely. Be have though about VMWARE FAULT TOLERANCE, but bandwidth requirementes will be so high and harware restrictions are also restrictive (1 vCPU only :-S). We have explored also NeverFail but we can get few information on it.

Therefore, we are looking for proposals on what software/hardware we should employ... If we would make better to include SAN mirroring between Office A and B or other alternatives do exist... We don't really know....

Also, network bandwidth could be improved by enabling more communication channels.... but not to infinite.

Hope to get any hints on this as I am a bit overstressed on this...

Thanks in advance,
