Red face Where to start?

Hi All,

Looking for some advice.

I work for a multi-site organisation based in the UK who's infrastructure is purely physical. At best I would say its unreliable but I don't have the necessary 'server admin skills' to resolve the issues myself. So we rely on an outside company to come and fix the problems as they arise. I'm responsible purely for application, communications and desktop support.

We think the best way out of this solution is to find a provider that could migrate our existing systems on to a virtualised platform and then deliver our users their desktop environment back via some kind of RDP or VDI as an 'end to end' service.

We use a couple of industry specific apps but everything else we need is 'standard issue', MS office, MS SQL Server etc.

Does anyone have any experience in doing something similar? Or does anyone here feel they could advise?

Many Thanks.
