Desktop effects with Ubuntu virtualization?

So far i haven't been able to find any virtualization software that can allow for desktop effects on Ubuntu as the guest OS. I use windows vista. Anyone know of any free ones that can do this?

Hi Andreolst,

I haven't been able to do the same on vmware ESXi 4.1. I think the limitation is the graphics drivers and hardware.

Have you tried installing compiz settings manager? Open terminal and try this command:
sudo apt-get install compiz config-settings-manager
