Is this a feasible situation?
I recently purchased a Dell XPS 15 laptop (8 gigs ram, 2.5 GHz i5 processor) but I have been told that for some of my music classes at college a Macbook Pro is recommended to run certain programs. Thing is, I don't want to return my $1700 dell computer so I can use 4-5 music programs on an Apple system. Would it be possible for me to virtualize OS X, install the necessary programs, and use them as if they were on a Macbook Pro? Or would that be too much of a tax on the laptops processing power?
Thank you in advance,
RPM
