Default Problems with Vmware workstation in win XP 64 bit and Ubuntu

Hi
I have installed Vmware Workstation 7.1.4 build-385 536 on a PC with Windows XP Professional x64 edition version 2003 service pack 2.
I think a VM with Ubuntu installed 10.4 and after the run is in the ubuntu login and unable to continue blocking the mouse.
The same installation in a window of 32 bit or 32-bit Windows 7 is working properly.
Is there any solution? because I can not change windows
Already thanks
