Default Registering devices permanetly on VM desktops

Hi guys, we have a setup of VMs that wipe off all settings and data on login off and on the setup we have network scanners that on the old desktop users could register on their profiles and that would be it forever but with our Vitual Machines the users have to register the device everytime they login which is very time consuming. ( We use Pagebox operator on the scanners if thats of any help)

Is there a way or where does Windows 7 store registry information about devices so that these devices are automatically registered on a default profile?

We are using VMware and running Windows 7.

Thanks in advance for the help.
