Default How to create an enviroment like this.

Hi all,

I am software developer and i use my notebook just for development purposes... my development environment is a server-client environment and as i am a freelancer i am not working at office always and i need to have my development and testing server with me always...

I want to create an environment like following;
A Virtual Server running directly on hardware of my notebook including management console without windows or other os that i have to install... (like windows or ubuntu. I think they use a lightweight linux for that)

and i will add virtual machines on that virtual server and use my workstation on virtual server... I am not using computer for gaming purposes so video performance is not a big deal for me...

When i open my notebook, first virtual server software will be opened and it will start my desired virtual pcs and servers and the console of my preferred virtual machine will come to directly to the screen after virtual server stand up... and if i want i can change my working virtual machine between other virtual pcs/machines?

is it possible... i hope i manage to describe my problem with my limited english... i downloaded VMware-VMvisor-Installer-5.0.0-469512.x86_64.iso from vmware... i think this is the virtual server that i want but i am not sure if it includes management console on it :S

after i wrote i realize that there will be lots of problems like managing wireless networks on host server, drivers etc etc.... may be i can arrange this with a windows server 2008 core installation or a stripped windows 7... without many useless services...
