Hyper-V Server 2008
Need some help guys. Got my Hyper-v Server up and running. Just running the core, not the operating system with the role installed. Everything seems to be running fine, except my Xp Pro VM. Wanted to run it on two cores, but had issues. Finally resorted to running on only one core, but CPU usage at idle stays at 1%. Not a huge deal, just really frustrating. Before when I had it on 2 cores it would idle at 10% CPU. So atleast it's not nearly as bad, but still frustrating. Played with the HAL's and am currently using the HAL "ACPI Uniprocessor PC"
Like I said, it's way better than before, but still frustrating that at idle it still using 1% CPU for nothing. Just a bare bones XP Pro VM with nothing else installed.
