Default VMWare Workstation 6.0 on XP 64-bit---how to set up a Fedora Core 9 image

I am a complete newbie to VMWare, having never even set up an image to run a Linux distro with the tool. However, I do have the .ISO for Fedora 9 and am looking for some basic instruction on how to go about configuring VMWare to use it. I am running VMWare on XP 64-bit. Any high level instruction would be appreciated.

If you create a virtual machine and assign it a disk drive then you have the first step down. Next you will want to going into the settings of the VM>disk drive>mount the ISO. Once this is done power the VM up and install.
