Default Vmware mouse problem

Iam using "Ubuntu 9.04 VMware Image" package that i downloaded with a free version of VMware player on my windows XP os.

While iam in the virtual machine, the mouse pointer can't go outside the window through the left or the upper edge, however, if the pointer moves outside the window through the bottom or right edge, it is as if i pressed "CTRL + alt" and moved to my windows operating system and the pointer is stuck there next time i click on the VM.

This is annoying as hell and i wonder if anybody have a solution for this? Searched all over can't find solution.

(Oh yeah, iam a complete noob in this area)
