StorMagic’s SvSAN Achieves Additional VMware Ready Status

StorMagic Inc. today announced that its Storage Virtual Appliance has achieved VMware Ready™ status. This designation indicates that StorMagic’s SvSAN has passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Partner Product Catalog.

Passing the extensive VMware-specified testing helps ensure that SvSAN makes best use of VMware technology and is ready for deployment in customer environments.

“We are pleased that StorMagic’s SvSAN qualifies for the VMware Ready™ logo, signifying to customers that it has passed specific VMware testing and interoperability criteria and is ready to run in production environments,” said Sheryl Sage, Director, Alliance Programs, VMware.

“By maintaining SvSAN’s VMware Ready status, our growing customer base can continue to benefit from leveraging the technology in multi-site environments,” said Hans O’Sullivan, founder and CEO at StorMagic. “SvSAN is an ideal set and forget solution for multi-site environments where centralized management is a necessity; the additional certification enforces SvSAN’s suitability for our client’s needs”
