Anuta Networks Delivers Dynamic Network Services for Multi-Vendor Virtualized Cloud Environments

Anuta Networks, the industry’s first provider of network services virtualization solutions, unveiled the latest release of its flagship nCloudX product. The latest release delivers highly advanced SDN features and supports value-added use cases for customers running virtualized environments, including cloud services.

“The ability to deliver shared network services rapidly is extremely critical for UBC IT. UBC IT went through multiple vendors and discovered Anuta’s nCloudX which is an excellent network services virtualization product. It helps UBC IT deliver these services to more than 60000+ students, faculty and staff at 993 acres-campus and multiple data centers. The nCloudX product presents a very powerful architecture that can help solve multiple complex use cases for network services,” said Sean Wang, Network Architect for University of British Columbia (one of the largest universities in North America).

Key nCloudX Enhancements:
Dynamic Network Services: With the availability of Dynamic Network Services, customers can alter or insert any new L2 to L7 service constructs into an existing service without disruption. Dynamic Network Services can be instantiated on either a virtual or physical device or network. Service providers and enterprises can leverage Dynamic Network Services to bring agility and efficiency to their existing infrastructure.

“With Dynamic Services support along with its flexible network services design, nCloudX takes network agility to the next level,” said Srini Beereddy, CTO of Anuta Networks. “Our global customers are driving such requirements to bring agility and new services into their environments using nCloudX. We are excited to deploy some of these new developments into customer production environments over the next couple of months.”

Cloud OS Service Abstraction: With the nCloudX latest release, customers will benefit from service level abstraction and integration with multiple flavors of Cloud Operating Systems including VMware vCloud Director, Microsoft System Center, OpenStack and CloudStack. The integrations enable customers to insert Dynamic Network Services into these various Cloud Operating Systems.

Showcasing Multi-Vendor Virtual Network Services Orchestration (VNSO):

At VMWorld 2013 – San Francisco, Anuta Networks will showcase the above new features as well as the L2-L7 services orchestration in a virtual appliance form-factor (e.g. virtual routers, virtual switches, virtual firewalls and virtual load-balancers) from multiple vendors. The list includes Cisco CSR1000V, Nexus 1000V, ASA 1000V, VSG, VMware DVS, F5 BIG-IP, and Citrix NetScaler VPX.
