Coachella Valley Schools, Community Partner to Ensure ‘No Child Left Offline’

Coachella Valley School District has many barriers facing it. One of the poorest districts in California, nearly 80% of students live in poverty; 70% are English-language learners; and the district covers an area larger than the state of Rhode Island. Despite these challenges, the district and community came together in an unique initiative ensuring every student has access to a 21st-century education – and every teacher would have the training to inspire a new style of learning.
