Well, one zettabyte is equal to sextillion bytes—that's 21 zeroes! 6.6 zettabytes is equivalent to about 12 hours of daily web conferencing for the entire world's workforce, which in 2016 will be about 3.8 billion workers It's also equivalent to about 1.5 years of continuous music, streaming for the world's entire population. And in 2016, that will be about 7.5 billion people! Themajority of this data center traffic is not generated by end users, but by data center processes, and procedures. Storage, production, and development content that stays within the data center makes up 76% of the traffic an additional 7% of traffic is generated between data centers.
