CumuLogic, a Java Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) software provider today announced that its CumuLogic PaaS has been verified as Citrix Ready®. The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix Systems, Inc. CumuLogic PaaS completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix XenServer® and Citrix CloudStack™, providing confidence in joint solution compatibility.

The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. Customers can be confident that CumuLogic PaaS has successfully passed a series of tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work effectively with XenServer and CloudStack in order to accelerate cloud deployments and offer customers added choice.
CumuLogic’s PaaS solution – currently in beta, enables enterprises, cloud providers and ISVs to leverage Java PaaS to deploy highly scalable applications in public, private and hybrid cloud environments. CumuLogic PaaS is the first and only PaaS offering with support for both public and private clouds. CumuLogic platform also allows users to mix-and-match middleware components so developers can choose best-of-breed middleware based on the application workload requirements. CumuLogic’s platform also provides enterprises with the means to standardize their IT application infrastructure, simplifying development environments while giving developers the capability to focus on quality applications.

Extended Application Server Support
CumuLogic also announced that in response to customer demand, it added support for JBoss 7 and GlassFish application servers making it the most flexible platform to build cloud-based Java and Spring applications. Support for Jetty application server is also coming soon. Other application servers already supported are: Tomcat, WebSphere and previous versions of JBoss. CumuLogic PaaS works seamlessly, out-of-the box with not only CloudStack and XenServer but also with Amazon EC2, Eucalyptus, OpenStack and VMware in public and private clouds.
